FAQ

Do I need experience?

No experience required. Our sessions welcome all levels.

What type of yoga is practiced during this class?

Yin yoga & meditation. Yin yoga is a slow, meditative practice where passive floor poses are held for about 2-3 minutes to gently stretch deep connective tissues and calm the mind. Most yoga classes focus on the body. We focus on the WHOLE system. What is the Cocooning Flow Method that we use? Click here!

Can I join mid-season or attend just one or two sessions?

Yes! You are invited to book a drop-in class (see above the Pricing section)

What should I bring?

Your yoga mat. A meditation journal and pen are also recommended! Blocks, blankets and bolsters will be available (but limited, if you have your our own props, please bring them.)

Do I need to book in advance?

Yes! To secure your spot, please reserve in the Pricing section and choose your package.

Walk-ins are accepted. Please arrive 10 minutes early – spots are limited!

Can I make up a missed class?

All sessions include a 48-hour replay, so missed classes cannot be rescheduled.

How do I pay?

Payment can be made online at the time of booking via the BOOK A CLASS link (above). For walk-ins, you can pay on-site (by cash or e-transfer).

Please keep in mind that spaces are limited, so it is important to cancel in advance to give other yogis the chance to register.

What if I'm late?

I recommend arriving 15 min early. This helps us start our sacred time together punctually on time.

Where can I park?

There isn't a designated parking area. However, you can park along the road surrounding the property.

Is this class open to men?

Yes, it is.

I am pregnant, can I attend the class?

The instructor is certified in prenatal yoga. She is fully qualified to guide and adapt classes for pregnant women and women who have recently given birth. If you decide to join us, please let her know as soon as you come into the class.

Can I watch the class later if I can't attend live?

Yes, each class is recorded and the replay will be available for 48 hours after the session.

Sundays are meant to be a day of rest, yet they can sometimes feel heavy with stress and anticipation of the week ahead.

Silent Sundays were created to change that rhythm, to give women a safe & peaceful space in nature where they can breathe deeply, let go, and remember the power of slowing down.

« At Coconing Yoga, we don't just focus on the body. We focus on the WHOLE system calming your nervous system through meditation, releasing through gentle movement, integrating through journaling. Come and try this experience. Then observe how your body reacts. »
